This policy describes what information WattFit (“the site”, accessible at wattfit.net) collects and how it is used. The short version: the site itself collects as little as possible, and this page discloses everything that applies.

What the site collects

WattFit is a static website. It has no accounts, no sign-ups, and no forms that submit data to us. All calculators run entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are never transmitted to our servers. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and operational purposes, as is common for any website.

Email

If you email contact@wattfit.net, we receive the information you send and use it only to respond to you. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your address.

Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies for its own functionality. Cookies may be set by third parties as described below.

Third-party advertising

WattFit may display advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google. These points apply when advertising is present:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Analytics

If the site uses a traffic measurement service, it is limited to aggregate, privacy-respecting page statistics (page views, referrers, country-level location). No cross-site profiles are built by us.

Embedded views

Calculator pages can be embedded on other websites via an iframe. When you interact with an embedded calculator, the same rules apply: computation stays in your browser. The site hosting the embed has its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

External links

Pages link to external sources (manufacturer spec sheets, the EIA, published reviews). Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Children

The site is a hardware reference and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date above.
